Good ol Gold

Hello Lovely Readers,

If there is one fudge dessert that I can devour unashamedly is the Chocolate Walnut Fudge from Lonavala, a hillstation close to my hometown Mumbai.

Last year I had concocted a Fudge recipe which was 90% close to the famous Lonavala Fudge. I tried a variation of the more chunky version of Choco-Hazelnut Fudge.

It was another winner recipe, as good as Fudge most Mumbaikaar's adore.

RECIPE

Time Taken: 20 mins

Yield : Serves 4 to 6 portions

Method :

1) Mix in, half cup milk and half cup of milk powder.

2) Pour milk in a saucepan, add half cup sugar and 1tbsp of dark coco powder.

3) Start warming the mixture on low flame till the sugar dilutes.

4) Once the mixture comes to a boil, add 1/4 cup of coarse hazelnut crush.

5) Cook till the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.

6) Transfer to a butter greased pan. And let it cool.

7) Serve warm or best room temperature.

If you are an expat Mumbaikaar like me and craving some good ol home memories, give this fudge a try.

Cheers!
