Season's Greetings

 Hello Lovely folks,

A Belated Merry Christmas to you all. 

May the star of Christmas guide, protect and bring happiness to you all. 

I had a extremely busy week prior to Christmas (obviously indulged in my fav activity - Christmas sweets treats), so Christmas eve was the ultimate busy day for me.

Even if we were not going to attend midnight Christmas mass in church physically, we had agreed to dress up proper even for the online mass. 

And while the food preps was as planned, the 'Christmas Cake' kept me occupied till late evening. Nothing major jus the trimmings and the mandatory picture session. 

So here's presenting our star dessert, a very merry and lil tipsy 'Traditional Christmas Fruitcake' wrapped in decadent marzipan with fondant decor pieces.

So apart from this main Cake, normally I bake a couple of my special 'Christmas Cakes' - one for my family, a couple of log cakes for our close friend's families, and mini cakes for my extended family. 

This year since we are all stuck home, I made just one of this cake; and gave it my all.

Cake or no Cake, we still sorely missed our parents and my brother, it is the first Christmas we spent just by ourselves. However the love and wishes reached us, all thanks to internet and power of connectivity (truly grateful for that). And we sincerely hope next year will see us united again.
